Anangookwe (Jesslynn Friday) is an Anishinaabe artist from Chima'aaganing (Seine River First Nation) but based out of Thunder Bay, Ontario. She is currently a third-year student at Lakehead University in the Fine Arts program.                                      
Her recent bodies of work combine realism, beadwork, the woodland style, and illustration to convey Anishinaabe resilency and futurisms with the depiction of the body blending into stardust.
